This seminar marked the first learning event offered by Hartwig Houston at no cost to the customers, and it was a success! We had over 30 companies in attendance with multiple guests from nearly each company. The feedback we received from the participants was very positive. Most of the guests thought the format and length of the presentations was just right.

  New touch screen jog box released

Hexagon Metrology, Inc. announces the availability of the Universal Jogbox, a new handheld input device for Brown & Sharpe and Sheffield branded Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMMs) shipped from the North Kingstown, Rhode Island factory. Incorporating a modern touch screen interface with an ergonomic design and soft-touch materials, the Universal Jog Box was designed first and foremost to be extremely tough, designed to withstand the rigors of industrial use with improved resistance to drops and similar shocks.

  Okuma Multus improves operations in Texas shop
Okuma Multus improves operations in Texas shop

Hamilton Machine, a manufacturer of aftermarket replacement
parts for the fracturing, acidizing, cementing and
drilling industries, utilizes an Okuma Multus to make parts
for the oil drilling industry. Using the Multus, the company
said it has improved operations by increasing throughput,
decreasing cycle time and reducing costs.
