Hartwig Receives its biggest reward: one of our own comes home

After completing an 10 month tour of duty in Spin Boldak, Afghanistan, Gary Bryant, Service Engineer in the Hartwig St. Louis office is back safely on U.S. soil.  This is the second tour in Afghanistan for Bryant, who has been in the military and reserves for 20 years.  This most recent call-up was a little different and came at an unusual time.

When you first step out into the manufacturing area at long time Hartwig customer R&D/Leverage,  (formally known as R&D Tool and Engineering) to take a tour, you can't help but stop and be amazed at this small 10' X 10' room filled with pictures, an Okamoto surface grinder, and a decorative metal sign hanging which bears the words "Ivan's Doorway to Opportunity, His Gift to us."

The Hartwig Houston office is having an open house! It will feature a silent auction, over 15 machines, 12 seminars, catered lunch and dinner, and of course industry experts with hands on demonstrations.
