How does CMTSE change your life as a customer?
Certified Machine Tool Sales Engineer – The ONLY measurement of a machine tool sales engineer that is nationally recognized, pretty impressive huh! What’s it take to become a CMTSE member? To begin with you must have a minimum of 2 years in the metal working industry of which 1 year must be as a machine tool sales engineer. Once this has been achieved you must study for a minimum of 40 + hours then take a grueling 4 hour test without any notes, cheat sheets, etc. Are you beginning to get the picture that this is not an easy accomplishment? You should! Perhaps you ask, what is the importance of being a CMTSE? To begin with, CMTSE members provide manufacturing solutions, they don’t sell machines. Their manufacturing solutions help keep manufacturing jobs in the USA versus going to cheap labor off shore. Being a CMTSE member truly separates the Professionals from the amateurs.
